Hedy Lamarr went to a school of dramatics in Berlin. This school was run by Max Reinhardt. Within a year of enrolling, she made her debut in Geld auf der Strasse.

Contributions to Computer Science

Hedy Lamarr, along with George Anthiel, invented a communication system that used "Frequency Hopping." This prevented the interception of radio waves and was very useful during WWII. It was called the "Secret Communication System." This was the foundation for WiFi and other wireless communication like GPS and Bluetooth.
